The Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, is set to host its 398th Inaugural Lecture on Tuesday, May 27 2025, continuing its tradition of promoting intellectual discourse and scholarly excellence.
The lecture, titled “A Threefold Cord That Is Not Quickly Broken: The Kinship of the Face, the Teeth and Quality of Life,” will be delivered by Professor Kikelomo Adebanke Kolawole, a renowned expert in Orthodontics. She is expected to explore the interrelationship between facial structure, dental health, and overall well-being — a subject gaining relevance in both medical and social spheres.
The event is scheduled to take place at 5:00 p.m. at the University’s Oduduwa Hall, with Professor Adebayo Simeon Bamire, the Vice-Chancellor, serving as chairman.
