Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC, the parent company of Stanbic Bank, has announced the 2024/2025 edition of its University Scholarship Programme for Nigerian undergraduates.
The initiative forms part of the bank’s ongoing efforts to support education and youth development across the country. In a statement, Stanbic IBTC said the scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to high-performing students, helping them complete their tertiary education.
The bank also highlighted other youth-focused initiatives, including the Youth Leadership Series (YLS), Higher Institution Football League (HIFL), Digital Skills Empowerment Programme (DiSEP), Adopt-A-School, and the Together4ALimb initiative. These programmes are designed to equip young Nigerians with leadership, digital, and vocational skills while promoting social responsibility.
Stanbic IBTC emphasised that education remains central to its long-term strategy for empowering the next generation of Nigerian leaders. Eligible undergraduates are encouraged to apply through the bank’s official channels for consideration in the 2024/2025 scholarship cycle.
The scholarship programme continues a tradition of corporate support for education in Nigeria, offering both financial aid and capacity-building opportunities aimed at fostering skills, innovation, and leadership among youth.
