Fake Convocation

European-American University has disowned reports claiming it awarded honorary doctorate degrees to Hausa musician Dauda Kahutu Rarara and others at a supposed convocation in Abuja. The institution, in a statement on Saturday, described the event held at NICON Luxury Hotel as a fraudulent gathering organised without its approval. The university stressed that it never authorised
