Prof. Abdullahi Yusufu Ribadu, the Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC), has approved experts to develop the Core Curriculum Minimum Academic Standards (CCMAS) components for Bachelor’s degrees in Tiv and Nupe languages.
The development experts were selected across different Nigerian universities.
Prof. Mary A. Adebayo and Prof. Rebecca K.D., who led the resource teams of the CCMAS development for the languages, appreciated the executive secretary for trusting them.
In addition, they pledged to work diligently on developing the framework for the courses, as they believe it is essential for both teaching and research.
