Zamfara Parents Push Governor to Clear ₦1bn Debt for Students in Cyprus
Parents of 88 Zamfara State-sponsored students at Cyprus International University have appealed to Governor Dauda Lawal to settle more than ₦1bn in unpaid tuition, accommodation, residence permits, and feeding costs. At a press conference in Gusau on Friday, Ambassador Ibrahim Tudu, chair of the Cyprus Students’ Parents Association, said the students had been left stranded
