The Abiola Ajimobi Technical University (Tech-U), Ibadan, has announced the opening of applications for the 2025/2026 Josephus Foundation Scholarship.
The scheme, funded by the Josephus Foundation through the university’s Chancellor, Chief Tunde Afolabi (MFR), is designed to help bright but financially challenged students who may struggle to pay for higher education.
According to the university, the award is partial but renewable every year, as long as the recipient maintains a minimum CGPA of 3.5. The university also said that the award comes with a flexible tuition payment plan that can be spread across two instalments.
Applicants must be prospective Tech-U students for the 2025/2026 academic session, score at least 160 in the UTME, and have five O’Level credits in one sitting, including English, Mathematics, and core science subjects. All the candidates who make the shortlist will sit for a competitive aptitude test on Tuesday, September 30, 2025.
The scholarship is strictly merit-based and highly competitive, providing a lifeline to academically gifted but financially disadvantaged students.
