The Executive Secretary of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), Sonny Echono, has commended Nile University of Nigeria for initiatives aimed at boosting the global competitiveness of Nigerian graduates.
Mr Echono, speaking after a meeting with a Nile University delegation led by Vice-Chancellor Professor Dilli Dogo in Abuja, said private institutions had a crucial role to play in developing talent for national growth.
Professor Dogo said the university was aligning its programmes with international standards by embedding professional certifications and investing in faculty training on new technologies, including artificial intelligence. He also invited the TETFund chief to Nile’s 13th convocation ceremony in November.
