Tinubu Constitutes NADF, BOA, UBEC Boards

President Bola. Ahmed Tinubu has set up the boards of the National Agricultural Development Fund (NADF), the Bank of Agriculture (BOA), and the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC).


In a statement, Bayo Onanuga, the Presidential Spokesperson, highlighted that Muhammad Abu Ibrahim will serve as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Executive Secretary of the NADF.


Tinubu also appointed Muhammad Babangida as Chairman and Ayo Sotinrin as Managing Director of the Bank of Agriculture (BOA).
In addition, the President appointed three executive and five non-executive directors to represent the six geopolitical zones.


The executive directors are Fatima Garba, from Sokoto, as executive director, Corporate Services; Ka’amuna Ibrahim Khadi, from Borno, as executive director, Risk Management and Strategy; and Hakeem Oluwatosin Salami, from Kwara, as executive director, Operations.


The non-executive directors include Aminu Malami Mohammed (North-east), Charles Amuchienwa (South-east), Oladejo Odunuga (South-west), Rabiu Idris Funtua (North-west), and Kochi Donald Iorgyer (North-central).
Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura will continue to serve as UBEC’s Board Chairman.
