The Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) has reaffirmed its ongoing reforms to enhance the responsiveness of its worldwide interventions. Aisha Garba, Executive Secretary of UBEC, made this remark during her speech at the KADA EduPACT International Summit 2025, outlining key areas that will undergo reform.
The reforms will focus on developing teacher capacity, renewing the curriculum, strengthening accountability mechanisms, and integrating technology into teaching and learning. Garba emphasised the necessity for collaboration, innovation, and strategic planning in providing quality education, reassuring the public of the commission’s commitment to building inclusive and sustainable educational systems.
