UDUS Celebrates 50 Years, Backs Tinubu Policies

Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS) has celebrated its 50th anniversary together with its 42nd convocation ceremony, using the occasion to commend President Bola Tinubu’s education policies.

At the event, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Bashir Garba, praised the government for improving funding and introducing reforms that are already helping universities achieve better academic standards and more independence.

The President was represented by the Minister of State for Education, Professor Suwaiba Sa’id Ahmad, who assured Nigerians that the government is committed to making education more accessible. She mentioned the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) as a significant step to ensure that no student misses school due to financial difficulties.
