The University of Calabar (UNICROSS) has issued a directive for all students living in campus hostels to vacate the premises by 12:00 pm on September 14, 2025.
The notice, issued as the 2024/2025 academic session draws to a close, states that hostels will be closed for routine maintenance ahead of the next session. Students are required to return all hostel keys, mattresses, and property to supervisors. Those who damage or remove property will be subject to surcharges.
The university management urged students to cooperate fully to ensure smooth maintenance operations and reminded them that hostels will remain closed until further notice. Queries can be directed to the Student Affairs Division.
The directive is part of UNICROSS’s effort to maintain safe and functional accommodation facilities for students in the upcoming academic session.
