The Faculty of Education, University of Lagos (UNILAG), is set to host a one-day capacity-building workshop to equip early career researchers with essential skills in research proposal development and the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in academic work.
Themed “Empowering Researchers to Write Winning Proposals and Leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Impactful Research,” the workshop will take place on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Faculty of Education Glass House, University of Lagos (UNILAG).
The training targets Early Career Researchers (ECRs) within the university. It will focus on two critical areas: developing competitive and fundable research grant proposals and leveraging AI tools to enhance the quality, visibility, and impact.
The organisers say the event will feature seasoned facilitators and interactive sessions designed to build participants’ research competencies.
