The University of Lagos has partnered with the University of South Carolina in the United States in the areas of agribusiness and transport.
Both institutions signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
The MoU requires that the universities promote a positive relationship and faculty-student exchange.
Dr Matthew Guah, a delegate of the University of South Carolina, added that the institution is making efforts to change foreigners’ perspectives of Nigeria by organising the UNILAG International Week. The week, themed “Equitable Partnerships and the Future of AI in Africa,” opened on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.
