The University of Lagos (UNILAG) will hold its Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Business Incubation Certification (EIBIC) Programme for 100 and 200-level students of the Distance Learning Institute (DLI) on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. The event will take place at the Jelili Omotola Multipurpose Hall at 9:00 a.m.
According to the university, the EIBIC Programme is compulsory for all students at these levels, with registration open online. It is designed to develop entrepreneurial skills, helping participants create business ideas that can generate jobs before or after graduation.
According to UNILAG, the training will run alongside students’ main courses of study. Upon completion, they will receive an additional certificate in Entrepreneurship upon graduation.
The initiative reflects the university’s push to prepare students for self-reliance in Nigeria’s competitive job market.
