UNILAG NITHUB Calls for Greentech Innovators

The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) Information Technology Hub (NITHUB) at the University of Lagos has opened applications for the 2025 Greentech Innovation Challenge.

The programme invites innovators and climate-tech entrepreneurs to apply before Wednesday, October 1, 2025, through an online portal. It is a two-week intensive programme designed to help startups improve their technology, fine-tune business models, and build stronger market strategies.

Selected participants will also receive mentorship from the Nigerian Climate Innovation Centre (NCIC), a leading organisation that supports climate-focused ventures nationwide. The initiative promises coaching, access to resources, and tailored guidance to help green startups grow faster.

With this challenge, NITHUB aims to encourage young innovators to tackle Nigeria’s pressing environmental and energy problems with technology-driven solutions. The programme also strengthens the country’s push for sustainable development through entrepreneurship.
