The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has released the official timetable for the 2025/2026 academic session. The notice, signed by Registrar Dr Chinenye Gloria Okeke, stated that the Vice-Chancellor had approved the calendar on behalf of the Senate.
According to the schedule, the first semester begins on Monday, October 6, 2025, when both new and returning students are expected to return to campus. Course registration, documentation, and payment of school fees will start immediately. Returning students begin lectures on October 8, while new students will join from October 13 after completing registration.
The Committee of Deans is scheduled to meet on October 14, with the first Senate meeting of the session set for October 29. Another Dean’s meeting is scheduled for November 11 to review progress. On the social side, UNN’s annual Christmas Carol is held on December 17. The holiday break runs from December 22 to January 3, 2026, while lectures resume fully on January 5.
