Two lecturers from the University of Cross River, Emmanuel Odu and Ndifon Vincent, both 32 years old and who teach Mechanical Engineering, have been missing for over eight weeks.
Both lecturers went missing on May 23, 2025, while returning to Calabar from Lagos after buying a car. According to reports, their last known location was in Imo State. Since then, there has been no word from them or any clues about their whereabouts. UNICROSS management states that they have been working with the police and DSS in both Cross River and Imo states to locate them. The school is seeking the public’s assistance with any helpful information. Odu is an only child and a former SUG president, while Vincent is a new father. The families are devastated and are begging President Bola Tinubu to step in and order a special search and rescue team to bring their loved ones home safely.
