The Federal University Birnin Kebbi (FUB) has received a multimillion-naira Tech Experience Centre from the Leo Stan Ekeh Foundation (LSEF), founded by Zinox Group Chairman, Leo Stan Ekeh.
Commissioned by the President of the Nigerian Computer Society, Dr Muhammad Sirajo Aliyu, the centre comes with the latest Zinox computers, solar-powered iPower renewable energy, and 24-hour Starlink satellite internet—funded by the Foundation for five years.
Ekeh said the facility will help students and staff acquire digital skills to compete globally and contribute to Nigeria’s growth. The centre is part of several tech hubs LSEF has donated to universities nationwide, including St. Augustine University and Imo State University.
He urged politicians, agencies, and wealthy Nigerians to invest in education, saying national development depends on a well-educated population. He thanked the FUB management, staff, students, and the Minister of Education for supporting the vision.
