Bingham University in Karu, Nasarawa State, will graduate 1,576 students at its 6th convocation
Bingham University in Karu, Nasarawa State, will graduate 1,576 students at its 6th convocation on Saturday. Among the graduands, 82 earned first-class degrees, 464 obtained second-class upper degrees, 260 second-class lower degrees, 40 third-class degrees, and two pass degrees.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Haruna Ayuba disclosed that 268 graduates are medical doctors, while 460 are postgraduate students. He noted that 1,116 undergraduates met both character and academic standards to be awarded first degrees in the 2024/2025 session.
“For postgraduate programmes, 460 graduands qualified for various postgraduate degrees. Certificates will be ready for collection after the convocation,” Ayuba said.
He described the event as not only a recognition of academic achievement but also a celebration of the university’s 20-year commitment to educational excellence, spiritual growth, institutional development, and societal impact.
