Bingham VC Attributes Success to Two-Decade Commitment

Prof Haruna Ayuba, Vice-Chancellor of Bingham University, has credited the institution’s academic achievements to 20 years of commitment to excellence, spiritual grounding, and societal development. He made the remarks ahead of the university’s 6th convocation at its Karu campus, Nasarawa State.


Ayuba said the convocation not only celebrates the accomplishments of the 1,576 graduands but also marks the university’s 20th anniversary, highlighted by the unveiling of a commemorative book, Bingham University @ 20.


The university, established by the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) in 2005, currently has 15 faculties and 63 departments, offering 48 undergraduate and 59 postgraduate programmes across Karu and Jos campuses.
For the 2024/2025 session, 1,116 undergraduates qualified for first degrees, including 82 first class and 464 second class upper degrees, while 460 postgraduate students will receive various degrees, including 44 PhDs.

Certificates will be available after the ceremony.
Ayuba acknowledged past Vice-Chancellors and university stakeholders for their contributions, emphasising that the institution remains committed to efficient service delivery, national visibility, and producing graduates with knowledge, skills, and strong ethical foundations.
