A Senior Technologist in the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, Mrs O. V. Adeyinka-Ajiboye, has reiterated the University of Ilorin’s status as a centre of academic distinction built on stability, innovation, and consistent performance.Speaking with UNILORIN Bulletin last Monday (November 24, 2025), she said the University’s 50-year trajectory reflects a culture of discipline and excellence that has shaped generations of professionals.She highlighted the institution’s growing influence in technological and scientific advancement, particularly through the Faculty of Engineering and Technology.Mrs Adeyinka-Ajiboye also noted that the University’s agricultural engineers continue to impact local communities by introducing low-cost, efficient technologies that boost farmers’ productivity and reduce labour demands. These outreach programmes, she said, align with the University’s long-standing commitment to food security, environmental sustainability, and rural development.
Congratulating the University on its Golden Jubilee, she encouraged engineers and alumni to preserve UNILORIN’s legacy by deploying innovations that address national challenges and support long-term development.
