Dr. Tunji Alausa, the Minister of Education, has rolled out initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of educational institutions in Nigeria to make them outstanding at the international level.
Alausa noted that the government has set in motion programmes to provide teaching aids and equipment, improve teaching quality, and rehabilitate infrastructure. The minister added that the government has decided to fully implement its Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Medical Sciences (STEMM) Agenda to make universities, polytechnics, and monotechnics align with national policies. He further expressed that he approved some funds in 2024 to achieve this implementation goal.
