The management of Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare, has barred students from entering examination halls with mobile phones, bags and electronic devices.
In a statement issued following its daily briefing on Tuesday, September 9, the college announced that the decision was made ahead of the second-semester examinations for the 2024/2025 academic session. Items prohibited include cell phones, earpieces, Bluetooth devices, MP3 players, AI-enabled wristwatches and other electronic gadgets. Handbags and other valuables are also banned from the venues.
The management explained that the move was necessary to ensure the smooth conduct of examinations and to enforce compliance with existing guidelines.
