Mr Allan Tsaku Isaac, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Branch Chairman of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN), has reiterated the organisation’s commitment to preventing financial leakages in Nigeria by ensuring that its members influence the quality of accountancy.
Speaking during ANAN’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Day, the chairman said the organisation is committed to professionalism that will foster economic growth in the country.
He stated, “We do that by helping to see that transparency is everywhere in the system that improves. We also try to see how we can prevent economic leakage in the country. We also ensure that qualified accountants are placed properly to take care of the economy.”
Speaking about the CSR Day, Isaac said the association donated 41 desks and chairs to a primary school in Karu, Abuja, and emphasised that it engages only in CSR in government schools.
