The Abdul Samad Africa Initiative (ASR Africa) has commissioned and transferred ownership of a ₦270 million world-class sports complex to the University of Jos (UNIJOS) at its Naraguta Campus.
ASR Africa handed over the sports complex as part of its commitment to supporting educational institutions through infrastructural interventions.
Prof. Tanko Ishaya, the vice chancellor of the university, appreciated Abdul Samad Rabiu, ASR Africa Chairman, for donating the sports complex to the university. He expressed that the university had never had such an infrastructure until the organisation intervened.
Hon. Musa Ibrahim Ashoms, the Plateau State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, appreciated Rabiu, adding that the sports complex will contribute to recreation and promote sports development in the state.
