Atiba University Promotes Two Professors

Two senior academics at Atiba University in Oyo State have been promoted to the rank of professor.

According to a statement by the university, the decision to promote the lecturers was made after a period of rigorous internal and external assessments, in line with the National Universities Commission (NUC) standards.

Those promoted are Professor Amos Oyetunde Alabi, now Professor of Educational Management, Policy, and Planning, and Professor Adeniran Rahman Tella, who has risen to Professor of Strategic Management and Public Policy.

Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sunday Olawale Okeniyi, congratulated the duo, describing their promotion as both a personal achievement and a collective victory for the institution. He noted that the recognition highlights Atiba University’s policy of celebrating merit and sustained contributions to scholarship.

The development is seen as part of the university’s drive to strengthen its academic profile and enhance its reputation in Nigeria’s higher education landscape.
