Daniella Okangba, a 2023 Law graduate of Babcock University, has made headlines after winning five major awards at the 2025 Nigerian Law School Call to Bar ceremony in Abuja. Among over 5,700 new lawyers, Okangba stood out by clinching the third prize for Best Overall Student.
She also bagged awards for Best Female Student in Civil Litigation and Best Student of the Year, among others. Daniella graduated with First Class Honours, crediting her success to hard work, faith, and the strong foundation she received from Babcock University.
Now working with the top law firm Banwo & Ighodalo, she plans to study at an Ivy League university and dreams of becoming a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, a professor, and possibly even entering politics. Her advice to future lawyers: “Believe in yourself, trust God, and never stop working hard.” Babcock’s Vice-Chancellor praised her as a shining example of excellence.
