Mr Obum Igboanugo, CEO of The Bloc Group Limited, has been inducted as a Life Member of the Chartered Institute of Directors Nigeria (CIoD) in recognition of his leadership, ethical standards, and transformative impact across real estate, energy, trade, and environmental stewardship. The induction took place during CIoD’s 2025 annual ceremony on December 4.
Under Igboanugo’s guidance, The Bloc Group has diversified its portfolio to address Nigeria’s housing deficit through sustainable real estate projects, expanded access to clean energy through Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) distribution, strengthened global trade networks, and actively championed environmental conservation initiatives.
CIoD lauded his strategic insight, operational excellence, and commitment to professional integrity, noting that his leadership embodies the Institute’s core values of Integrity, Meritocracy, Professionalism, Accountability, Customer Centricity, and Teamwork (IMPACT).
