Dr. Adeola Phillips, Chairman of Parallex Bank Limited
The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) has conferred an Honorary Fellowship on Dr Adeola Phillips, Chairman of Parallex Bank Limited, for her outstanding leadership and contributions to Nigeria’s financial sector.
The investiture, held at the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts, National Theatre, Lagos, drew top figures from the banking and business sectors.
CIBN President, Prof Pius Olanrewaju, praised the honourees for upholding professionalism, integrity and service excellence in the financial industry. He urged them to continue promoting ethical standards and capacity building across the banking system.
Delivering the keynote, Future Africa CEO, Iyinoluwa Aboyeji, urged banks to invest more in young Nigerians, describing them as “the engine of the nation’s future economy.”
In her remarks, Dr Phillips dedicated the recognition to the advancement of ethical and innovative banking practices. “This honour is an encouragement to continue driving excellence, integrity, and socioeconomic impact,” she said.
