CoinCola, a global peer-to-peer cryptocurrency trading platform, is redefining how Nigerians learn about digital finance. Through hands-on workshops held in several cities, the company is demystifying complex crypto concepts for everyday people, students, entrepreneurs, and young professionals by meeting them where they live and learn.
Led by Country Growth Manager Samuel Joseph, the campaign features local ambassadors hosting practical sessions on Bitcoin, blockchain, and decentralised finance. In Uyo, Ambassador Michael Oliver organised four workshops to simplify cryptocurrency for newcomers. Lagos events coordinated by Iyabode Aregbe drew in large, diverse audiences, focusing on safe trading and mobile apps. In Port Harcourt, Joseph Isobara’s sessions highlighted the potential of crypto to drive financial inclusion.
Each session offered not just education but also engagement. New users received welcome packs that included branded items and even starter crypto tokens, helping to build excitement and lower the barrier to entry. According to organisers, CoinCola’s goal is to empower Nigerians with tools to participate in the global digital economy responsibly.
Crucially, the use of local ambassadors ensures content is tailored to the communities served. With plans to expand into more cities, CoinCola is quickly becoming a trusted name in grassroots crypto education, demonstrating that digital finance is not just for the tech-savvy but for everyone.
