Prof. Felicia Alu Moh appointed as Crawford University’s new Pro-Chancellor and Chair of the Governing Council
Crawford University, Igbesa, Ogun State, has appointed Prof. Felicia Alu Moh as its new Pro-Chancellor and Chair of the Governing Council, strengthening governance and academic leadership. The announcement was made during the University’s 20th Anniversary and 17th Convocation Ceremony.
Prof. Moh, a Professor of African Literature and Director of Academic Planning at Coal City University, Enugu, has over three decades of experience in academia, literacy advocacy, and development initiatives. She has worked with organisations such as the British Council Nigeria and the Discovery Learning Alliance.
At the convocation, she described Crawford’s 20-year journey as a testament to divine faithfulness and pledged to strengthen policies, foster innovation, and enhance community engagement. She urged graduates to embrace resilience and ambition, saying: “Fail you may, but sail you must.”
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Solomon Makinde praised her appointment as strategic, highlighting her experience in education and community development. Deputy Vice-Chancellor Prof. Isaac Adegbenga Aladegbola called it a “divine fit,” reflecting both scholarship and humanitarian values.
Prof. Moh is also the founder of Slates & Crayons and the Ada Amasiri Network Foundation and a Fellow of the English Language Teachers Association of Nigeria (FELTAN). Her appointment is expected to reinforce Crawford University’s governance and global standing.
