At the Crawford University 20th Anniversary, 17th Convocation, and Inauguration of the Alumni Executives
Crawford University, Igbesa, Ogun State, has commemorated its 20th anniversary, while also inaugurating the Crawford University Global Alumni Association (CRUGAA) and inducting the Class of Unicorn 17 into the association.
Victor Oluwafemi Adeniji, the Alumni President, in his inaugural address, expressed, “We begin being a living part of the institution that formed us, a bridge and a partner, as town and gown finally unite. Crawford University must not merely survive; Crawford University must thrive.”
The alumni president also highlighted a three-phase vision for CRUGAA, which involves launching a digital alumni ecosystem to connect graduates globally. Other aspects include establishing a CRUGAA venture fund, promoting ethical credit, and launching the Crawford Review and Press.
Prof. Solomon Makinde, the vice chancellor, stated, “We are proud of our graduates and confident that CRUGAA will sustain the legacy of excellence and godliness that defines our institution.”
