Prof. Jacinta Opara, the Vice-Chancellor of Dominican University, Ibadan, Oyo State, has paid a courtesy visit to the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (NISLT) to discuss a partnership opportunity about knowledge and facility exchange programmes.
In her remarks, the Vice-Chancellor said the visit came in recognition of the common goals the university shares with the institute.
She explained that the exchange will involve academic staff and students and improve teaching and research.
In addition, she noted that exploring the university’s knowledge base can provide technical guidance for co-publishing grant proposals, thereby improving the likelihood of securing grants.
Yemi Hezekiah Gbadegesin, the Registrar/CEO of the NISLT, supported the exchange programme, stressing that knowledge sharing is essential for development.
