A university scholar, Professor Eni Kalu, has applauded Senator Orji Uzor Kalu for his consistent commitment to education and youth empowerment.
Speaking in Abuja, the professor said Kalu has shown remarkable dedication to human capital development, noting that education has remained his priority from his days as governor of Abia State to his current role in the Senate.
According to him, Senator Kalu has sponsored over 20 young Abians to study abroad in fields such as medicine, doctoral research, and business administration. Within Nigeria, he is also supporting the education of more than 600 youths.
Professor Kalu stressed that such investments in education provide a stronger foundation for addressing poverty, insecurity, and youth restiveness than short-term social activities.
He described education as the most reliable path to a brighter future, especially for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
