Dr Harrison Madueke was once a medical doctor with a steady career, but he chose to follow a new path in technology. He started Arigo Technologies, a company focused on using digital tools to solve real problems in Africa.
Madueke said he made the move because Africa should stop waiting for foreign solutions. “Technology became my new medicine,” he said. “Instead of treating one person at a time, I can now help whole communities.” One of the company’s key products, ArigoPay, is more than just a payment app. It helps people in Nigeria who do not have access to banks make safe digital transactions, reducing financial exclusion. His goal is simple—create useful technology that improves lives.
