The Ewu-Urhobo Kingdom Elite Forum has donated writing materials worth millions of naira to pupils of Eghereka and Ewu Primary Schools in Ewu town, Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State.
The donation, held on Friday, September 26, 2025, was part of the forum’s core objective of giving back to society and was attended by top members of the association.
President of the forum, Evang. Ekagha Clement, alongside Secretary General Hon. Chief Paul Etaga, Board of Trustees member Prince Shell Oyibo, and Sir Patrick Akporode, stated that the initiative was designed to support the educational and social development of Ewu Kingdom.
They noted that the gesture reaffirms the forum’s commitment to meeting the needs of indigenous people and supporting students through scholarships up to the university level.
They also revealed that plans are underway to establish an education and skills trust fund to assist outstanding students.
The forum urged students to stay focused on their studies, while charging teachers to educate their pupils with love and commitment.
They explained that the over 5,000 writing materials distributed were funded entirely through voluntary contributions from members in Nigeria and abroad, stressing that the initiative was not politically motivated.
