The Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) has inducted 699 education students of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) as professional teachers on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.
Prof. Simeon Adebayo Oladipo, the Dean of the Faculty of Education, congratulated the new teachers on their induction and for passing the TRCN’s 2025 Professional Qualification Examination Integrated (PQEI).
While addressing the new teachers, Prof. Folashade Ogunsola, OON, FAS, said education is a great tool to change the world, encouraging them to explore advanced studies and workshops organised by relevant bodies.
Dr Ronke Soyombo, the registrar and CEO of TRCN, advised the new teachers to adopt artificial intelligence and modern tools.
