Chief J.G.O. Adegbite, the pioneer Registrar of Ekiti State University (EKSU), recently marked his 85th birthday with family, friends and colleagues.
The event celebrated Adegbite as a “man of wisdom and distinction,” a respected community leader and experienced public servant. He is remembered for his dedication, discipline and integrity in university administration. A statement from the family said: “To honour this important milestone, family, friends and well-wishers gathered at his home in GRA, Ado-Ekiti, to celebrate his life and legacy.”
The family expressed gratitude for his life and prayed for his continued health, happiness and peace. A prayer session was held as part of the celebrations to honour the disciplinarian.
