Professor Anthony Kola-Olusanya, the former Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Osun State University (UNIOSUN), has been awarded a prestigious Visiting Fellowship at the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom.
According to a statement by the school’s Public Relations Officer, Ademola Adesoji, the fellowship runs from April 23 to May 30, 2025. Professor Kola-Olusanya will take part in research workshops and projects related to global sustainability during his stay. His visit will help strengthen academic ties between UNIOSUN’s Global Affairs and Sustainable Development Institute (GASDI) and Warwick’s Sustainability Spotlight, run by the Institute for Global Sustainable Development. UNIOSUN’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Odunayo Adebooye, congratulated him and said the university is proud of its growing international reputation.
The fellowship was offered by Professor Jane Webb of the University of Warwick, demonstrating that UNIOSUN’s work is gaining global attention. This marks another milestone in the university’s pursuit of global academic partnerships.
