Federal Government Team at UNIBEN

A team from the Federal Ministry of Education has visited the University of Benin (UNIBEN) to assess the University’s compliance with the Federal Government’s white paper on the report of the 2023 Visitation Panel to the University.

The team, led by Mr. Charles Owolabi, Deputy Director of the University Education Department at the Federal Ministry of Education, was received by Professor Edoba Omoregie, Vice Chancellor, in the company of other Principal Officers, Provosts, Deans, Directors, and executives of the Unions. The verification exercise involved assessing infrastructure and other performance indicators as specified in the Presidential White Paper, following the report of the Visitation Panel led by Ms Ama Pepple. At the end of the two-day exercise, the team was satisfied with the University’s level of compliance and commended the Vice Chancellor for devoting time to brief and interact with the delegation despite his busy schedule.
