The Chairman of the Governing Council of Federal Polytechnic Ayede, Hon. Yakubu Dati, has expressed joy over the rapid development at the school’s permanent site in Ayede, Ogo-Oluwa LGA, Oyo State. During a recent visit, he praised the school’s progress since it began operations in 2021 at a temporary site in Iresapa.
Dati was impressed with the new buildings, including lecture halls, an ICT centre, a library, a medical centre, and workshops. He commended the Rector, Dr Taofeek Adekunle Abdul-Hameed, for increasing student enrolment from zero to over 1,000 in just four years. In a bid to support the institution, he called on the federal and state governments, as well as the people of Ogbomoso, to assist with road construction and other amenities. Dati also thanked President Tinubu and other stakeholders for their support, while encouraging parents to enrol their children and help grow the young institution.
