Dr Florence Ajimobi, wife of the late former Oyo State Governor and founder of the Technical University, Ibadan, now Abiola Ajimobi Technical University, has commended Miss Daniella Bimbo Kolade, a student of the institution, for winning a global team project competition at a boot camp hosted by the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom.
Ajimobi, speaking on behalf of the Senator Abiola Ajimobi Foundation (SAAF) and the family, described the recognition as a proud moment and a validation of her husband’s vision in establishing the university. She praised Kolade’s creativity, teamwork, and leadership, saying the victory was not just personal but historic for the institution, highlighting its potential to make a global impact.
Ajimobi also lauded the university’s management, led by the Vice-Chancellor, and thanked Kolade’s family for their support, stressing that the achievement reflected the university’s commitment to nurturing problem-solvers and leaders for Nigeria and beyond.
