Fountain University, Osogbo (FUO), has announced that its Nursing Class of 2025 achieved a 100 per cent pass rate in the Midwifery Professional Examinations conducted by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
The feat, which has drawn celebrations from students, faculty, parents, and administrators, marks a historic milestone for the institution’s nursing department.
The institution’s Vice Chancellor, Prof Olayinka Ramota Karim, described the achievement as the product of “rigorous training, discipline, and a culture of excellence,” commending both students and faculty for their dedication. She singled out the Head of Department of Nursing, Dr Moridiyah Adeyemo, for her leadership and commitment to academic standards.
Adeyemo praised the students for their resilience in balancing theory, clinical practice, and examinations, stressing that the nursing profession requires sacrifice and compassion. Parents of the graduating class also lauded FUO’s nursing programme for providing a supportive environment that ensured success.
