The Federal University of Education (FUE), Zaria, has released guidelines for students eligible for tuition refunds already covered by the Federal Government through the Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).
In a statement signed by the Scholarships Desk Officer, Malam Abdullahi Bashir Bawan Allah, the university stated that the refund applies to both NCE and undergraduate students whose names appear on the published beneficiary lists.
The process requires students to confirm their names on the lists, collect receipts from the Bursary Unit, obtain a refund letter template from the Scholarship Unit, and attach the required documents. These must then be submitted to the Academic Office before onward transmission to the Desk Officer for recommendations.
The institution urged applicants to ensure that account details in their letters are “clearly captured” to avoid processing delays.
Students seeking further information were advised to contact the Scholarships Desk Office via published telephone numbers or visit the Scholarship Unit at the Micro Teaching Lab, School of General Education.
