The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University Lokoja (FUL), Prof Olayemi Akinwumi, has announced the appointment of Prof Ode Borniface Ogbu of the Department of Educational Foundations, Faculty of Education, as the new Provost of the College of Education, Oju, Benue State.
Akinwumi, speaking during a Senate meeting on Monday, described the appointment as a testament to FUL’s growing reputation for producing outstanding academics and administrators who contribute meaningfully to national development.
He commended Ogbu’s dedication and leadership qualities, expressing confidence that his experience and academic excellence would advance the College’s vision and strengthen its academic standards. The Vice-Chancellor, on behalf of the University community, congratulated Ogbu and wished him success in his new role.
