Institute of Food Security, Environmental Resources and Agricultural Research (IFSERAR) at FUNAAB
The Institute of Food Security, Environmental Resources and Agricultural Research (IFSERAR) at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) will hold its November monthly seminar on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the IFSERAR Laboratory Room.
Titled “Growth, Yield and Fruit Shelf Life of Tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill) as Influenced by Organic Fertiliser, Bamboo Biochar Rates and Storage Media,” the seminar will be presented by Dr Patience Odueme.
The session aims to provide insights into sustainable agricultural practices, focusing on improving tomato production, postharvest quality, and shelf life through innovative soil and storage management techniques.
Members of the university community, including deans, directors, researchers, and students, are invited to attend and engage in the knowledge-sharing event.
