Dibu Ojerinde, former Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), have agreed to settle Ojerinde’s fraud case out of court.
Eteya Ogana, Ojerinde’s lawyer, revealed that though the ₦5.2 billion case was supposed to open on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, both parties decided to explore another settlement option. Leslie Iheduru, ICPC’s counsel, confirmed that Ojerinde and the ICPC have chosen to reconcile without further involving the court. Justice Egwuatu has adjourned the case till October 20 for settlement or defence.
