Hajia Zainab Hamzat, JAMB’s Director in charge of the Abuja Zone
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has conducted a computer-based promotional examination for 450 junior civil servants under the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HoS). The exercise took place at Ade-Ola International School, Kubwa, Abuja.
According to Hajia Zainab Hamzat, JAMB’s Director in charge of the Abuja Zone, the examination was successful and well-coordinated. “Everything went well as usual. It is a promotion examination for HoS officers. We had two sessions, morning and afternoon, and the turnout was impressive,” she said.
Hamzat disclosed that although 476 workers were expected, 450 participated, including personnel from immigration, fire service, civil defence, and other paramilitary agencies under the HoS.
The Director of Ade-Ola International School, Mrs Mercy Olaosegbe, praised JAMB’s professionalism and standards. “JAMB ensures only accredited centres with the right facilities host such examinations. Because we maintain high standards, we have continued to serve as a third-party examination centre,” she stated.
