JIBC Launches Centre for Study Abroad Pathways

JIBC has inaugurated Abuja Centre to provide Nigerian students with pathways to UK-standard university programmes

Jokings International Business College (JIBC) has inaugurated the Oxford International Abuja Centre to provide Nigerian students with direct pathways to UK-standard university programmes. The centre aims to support students who lack straightforward or affordable pathways to study abroad.

JIBC President, Mr Kingsley Ibeji, said the institution secured the Oxford International franchise to offer International Foundation Programmes, Pre-Masters Programmes, and the Oxford English Language Level Test (ELLT) locally.

The nine-month Foundation Programme targets WAEC or NECO holders seeking undergraduate admission in fields such as Business, Accounting and Computer Science. A six-month Pre-Masters Programme is designed for HND holders or graduates with third-class degrees who aspire to postgraduate studies.

Ibeji highlighted that the centre offers globally recognised programmes, personalised support, and affordable fees, enabling students to prepare for and take English tests locally before progressing abroad.

The admission process involves consultation, document submission, and the issuance of an offer within two weeks. Academic support includes experienced tutors, study-skills training, and guidance on university applications.

The Oxford International Abuja Centre, situated at Kini Country Guest Inn, Akwanga, Nasarawa State, is now accepting applications from students seeking structured, internationally recognised pathways to study abroad.
