The Kaduna State House of Assembly has passed a bill to establish the College of Agricultural Technology and Environmental Sciences in Lere Local Government Area.
The bill was sponsored by Hon. Munira Suleiman Tanimu, Majority Leader and member representing Lere East. She said the new college will help boost agricultural education, create jobs, and give young people the skills to build better futures. “This is a big win for Lere and Kaduna State,” Hon. Munira said. “It will open doors of opportunity and bring positive change to our people.” The college is expected to improve agricultural knowledge, promote innovation, and raise the standard of living in the area. Residents celebrated the development on July 1, praising Hon. Munira for her efforts.
